Job Position – HSE Engineer

Education & Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in HSE Engineering, Environmental Science, or Civil Engineering (with HSE certification); NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain and implement a comprehensive Site HSE Management Plan for infrastructure and underground utility projects.
– Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits, focusing on trench safety, heavy equipment operations, and confined space entry.
– Perform detailed hazard identifications and risk assessments (HIRA) for all project activities.
– Ensure full compliance with all relevant UAE local and federal health, safety, and environmental (HSE) laws and regulations.
– Facilitate the ADOSH (Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Center) practitioner course implementation and maintain records.
– Lead investigation and reporting for all site-related incidents and near-misses.
– Deliver toolbox talks and conduct regular HSE induction training for site staff.
– Review and approve subcontractor HSE plans and monitor their ongoing compliance.
– Act as the primary point of contact for external HSE regulatory bodies.
– Prepare regular HSE performance reports for management and clients.
