Job Title: IT Security Operations – Firewall Engineer

Location: UAE (Work From Home)

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of total experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep understanding of Security Technologies & Products.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Expertise in multivendor firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortigate, etc.).
• Deep expertise in one or two technology stacks with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Ability to coach and guide engineers and other service management staff.
• Identify requirements and create a solution architecture that meets those requirements.
• Strong hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network and security products in a multivendor environment.
• Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex network and security problems in large data centers.
• Solve IP core network/security issues, including routing convergence problems.
• Apply a strong analytical approach to diagnose and resolve issues and synthesize complexities into clear communication and action plans.
• Plan and execute complex network & security upgrades and migration/integration activities.
• Plan and execute Data Centre Implementation Activities concerning Security Technologies and Solutions.
• Act as a technical focal point for complex network and security problem resolution.
